According to Phil Spencer, Studio Head of The Coalition Rod Fergusson is holding back a few surprises for even those at Microsoft.
The Xbox chief was answering questions on Twitter when he confirmed that he had indeed sampled quite a bit of Gears of War 4. Spencer tweeted:
“Yes, played MP and campaign, more MP so far,”
“Rod Fergusson likes to hold back his game and surprise.”
The new instalment in the popular Xbox exclusive series is set to be released later this year but there is still little known about it.
It was officially announced at E3 2015, with a new trailer showing off what appeared to be some of the main characters.
Speaking at the time Fergusson revealed a little more about the new project, focusing on new soldier, JD and his companion.
“I can give you one detail that has not been shared, the name of the women in the demo is Kait”
he confirmed after the Xbox briefing.
“The first character is JD, while his companion’s name is Kait, that’s all the information I’m giving you guys right now.”
